Recently I've really been struggling with what course to create. I have 101 ideas but never decide which one to create. Insights from Instagram aren't showing anything poignant to invest my time in creating, and with little audience feedback, I feel a little stuck.

In the past month, I've immersed myself in the dynamic world of X, particularly exploring SpacesFor those who have experienced Clubhouse, Spaces offers a similar platform for live audio conversations, ripe with diversity and rich knowledge exchanges. I've had huge engagement on X compared to Instagram with the same content. X has driven more subscribers and followers than Instagram. My objective is to increase my list of subscribers to Chatterbox. 

🎙️ Insights from a Space: "Get Unstuck w/ Miles & Dave"

I joined the space Get Unstuck w/ Miles & Dave, hosted by Miles Welch and Dave Meier. Their blend of humour and wisdom created an atmosphere of openness and camaraderie, precisely what we, as solo entrepreneurs, often need.

As a participant, I contributed and sought advice on my struggle – designing my course.

Dave's advice was a game-changer:

  • ✅ Create a waitlist
  • 🔬 Share insights and solutions
  • 🎯 Set a subscriber target
  • 👷‍♀️ Only build when there's proven interest.

While these can be valuable, my recent experience with X, particularly with Spaces, highlights an often-overlooked resource: the power of free platforms and the richness of simply getting involved in conversations.

Engaging in these spaces gave me valuable insights without any financial investment. This approach is not just about saving money; it's about tapping into the vast pool of knowledge and experience that exists in these open forums. It’s a testament to the fact that sometimes, the most impactful resources are those that are freely available to us, provided we are willing to dive in and participate. 

In times of economic struggle, it's vital to remember the wealth of resources at our fingertips. Platforms like X offer us a space to learn, share, and grow together. It's a reminder that our journey as solo entrepreneurs is not just about the resources we can pay for but also about the communities and conversations we choose to be a part of.
