When you choose to work with Emma Brooks Design for a strategy session, we're both entering into a mutual agreement. I promise to do my best to meet your expectations, and I want everything to be clear from the start. You won't find confusing legal jargon here – just the straightforward terms of our working relationship.
What This Means for You and Us
Contract: Our agreement is to provide you with our services according to our outlined details.
Intellectual Property Rights: These are the creative and intellectual works we protect, like designs and content, whether officially registered or not.
Services: The strategy session and any other services we agree to provide.
Terms: The conditions we're agreeing to in this document.
Communication: We can communicate through email, and it's as valid as any written document.
This document is the entire agreement between us, prioritising over any previous agreements or practices.
Our contract begins when you purchase a service and will last for the duration specified in the offer.
We'll provide our services with professional care, aiming to meet any deadlines we've discussed. However, these are just estimates.
The services include a strategy session.
Fees and Payments
You must pay for the session before it happens, as detailed when you purchase the offer.
Prices don't include VAT, which will be added if applicable.
If payments are late, we may need to pause our services.
Confidentiality and Ownership
We agree to keep each other's information private, only sharing what's necessary to fulfil the services or if required by law.
Anything we provide during our services remains our property.
We'll handle your personal information responsibly, using it for business purposes and sharing it only with those who help us provide our services or as required by law.
We own or have the right to use all intellectual property in our services. Working with us allows us to use any materials you provide as part of our services.
Strategy sessions are non-refundable
Rescheduling your session.
Sessions can be rescheduled up to 48 hours before the session.
We're independent consultants working with you, not employees or partners.
We limit our liability for any losses to the fees you've paid us, except in cases of negligence or fraud.
If anything in this agreement is found to be invalid, the rest still applies.
We can update these terms, but we'll keep you informed about any changes that affect our services.
By agreeing to these terms, you're officially starting our working relationship under these conditions.
