Mentorship Agreement:
The service provided to the CLIENT by the MENTOR is business MENTORING, as designed jointly with the CLIENT. MENTORING, not directive advice, counselling, or therapy, may address overall goals, specific projects, or general conditions in the CLIENT's life or profession. MENTORING services may include setting priorities, establishing goals, identifying resources, brainstorming, creating action plans, asking clarifying questions, providing models, examples, and in-the-moment skills training. The MENTOR promises that all information the CLIENT provides will be kept strictly confidential, as permissible by law.
Throughout the relationship, the MENTOR will engage in direct and personal conversations with the CLIENT, including asking explicit questions and making requests. The purpose of these interactions is to remind the CLIENT of his/her intentions and MENTOR him/her to realise them. For our relationship to achieve the maximum result, the MENTOR asks that the CLIENT agree to the following:
Cancellations
For hourly Zoom sessions, please give at least 24 hours notice should you need to cancel or reschedule. Otherwise, the full fee for that session is payable.
If I need to cancel a session that is paid for due to unforeseen circumstances, I will endeavour to reschedule your day as soon as possible or reimburse you.
Last-minute alterations or delays
I know that sometimes, things come up that we cannot anticipate. This is especially true when it comes to young children. If, in the rare circumstance that I am unable to make a mentoring call or will be late, I will contact you by both email and phone with as much notice as possible and will start the session as soon as possible or aim to allocate you another mentoring slot or day within that week. I ask that you do the same where possible, please.
Time
Our time is hugely valuable, so we will begin and end our ‘formal’ sessions promptly. If, at the close of a session, something would benefit from an extension or an additional session before the next one in the diary, we can make arrangements at the close. If we do decide to work via Zoom, and should for any reason Zoom fail us - I will call you so we can continue our session by phone. Please let me have a landline and mobile number.
Payment
All sessions must be paid for in full before scheduling.
Participation
Be honest participate fully, and come prepared for sessions.
If you are requested to complete work prior to your session, please do so. In the event you fail to complete pre-session work, we may be unable to commence with the session, in such an event I am unable to offer a refund or reschedule.
Make a commitment to the action plans you create, and do what you have agreed to do.
If you see that the program is not working as you desire, communicate feedback so we may better address the desired goals.
Confidentiality
Everything discussed within your session is treated in the strictest of confidence. I will not divulge any content, documents or intellectual property you share with me to any third party for the length of our relationship and beyond without your permission. If you are happy for me to do so, I’d love to share that we are working together via social media for our mutual benefit. Still, if you would rather that our mentorship remain confidential, it absolutely will. If you are thrilled to bits with our work together and would like to offer a testimonial at the end of the process, then that’s cool too!
Except as expressly provided in this agreement, the MENTOR makes no guarantees or warranties, express or implied. In no event will the MENTOR be liable to the Client for consequential or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, the MENTOR’s entire liability under this agreement, and the Client’s exclusive remedy, will be limited to the amount paid by the Client to the MENTOR under this agreement for all services rendered up until the termination date.
This is the entire agreement of the parties and reflects a complete understanding of the parties concerning the subject matter. This agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations.
If a dispute arises out of this agreement that cannot be resolved by mutual consent, the Client and Mentor agree to attempt to mediate in good faith for up to 30 days after notice is given.
By purchasing this session, you indicate your compliance with the above requests and understanding of the services provided.
